Forever and Ever
Every day I miss you
The pain of loss cuts deep
My tears sting my wounds
My walk is slow filled with memories of you
Remembering the way you held me
A protective touch reassuring and supportive
Always by my side listening and being as one
We had our own way of thinking
Together we stood strong, giving to each other
Assistance when needed rather asked or not
Acceptance that glowed whenever we touched
You made my life beautiful
As with the rising sun
A new gift for each day
Precious love shared in a kiss
Two lips that touched sending sparks to eternity
Knowing I was your precious one, echoes in my dreams
Tears stream down my cheeks as I write
A letter to my beloved I send into the night
Knowing you will always be by my side
I will love you forever
I know you will be at the end of the light
Waiting for me with an out stretched hand
When the light rises above the mountain tops early morn'
I know it is my love sending me blessings for the day

How can I tell you, you are everything?

In a way you will believe. 

What must I do to earn your respect?

My feelings glow with the wonder

Of the riches of grandeur you share 

The sparkle of caring

Beyond words or charm

The wonderment saturates my being

Touching my inner most thoughts 

A look from you sends my 

Soul soaring to the stars

You give me love beyond the moon 

Stardust floats between us

Connecting us in every way

Making life a blessing

A heartfelt romp of feelings

A joy to behold for evermore

These words came to me in a moment, in a rush that demanded to be shared. I met another Thomas tonight. Share with your wife Thomas. Blessings to all!

Need for repair

Fishes swim 
Unhindered up stream
Gracefully darting
Between life and death

Humans run around
Wildly exclaiming demands

Life tumbles and bounces
Deflates the strong
Dismantles the frigntened
Kicks the weak
Starves the hopeless

Screams for change
Process more
Make us better

Stronger we stand 
Closer we bind
Together as one

Showing the way 
Sharing by all
Making everyone stronger

Paying our dues
Visitors welcome to
Explore our path
Stifling no one

These United States
Once again we
Will be strong!

When I think I might forget you

I longing look at your photograph
Remembering your lopsided grin
Your huge hands with knurled fingers
Your lushes hugs and generous heart 

When looking for a photo

The one I really want to see
I look deep inside, within my heart
Where you captured me

Remembering your loving ways
Warms my heart to overflowing 
Giving me all the strength needed
To go on, being your one true love

Embracing our forty years together
And the romance that filled our lives
A beautiful part of our love
This makes you unforgettable

Savored as a long simmered soup
Bringing the nourishment needed 
To withstand the lonely nights

The missing burns deep inside  
But knowing, I was treasured beyond gold
Frees me to live this life all alone

The awesomeness of this mountain

Floats me above my earth

Keeps me in rhythm

With my heart beat

Giving me the strength to continue

Even when my journey

Stumbles during the day

Seeing its impressive beauty

Rise up from the drab misty

Liquid sunshine

Of the dreary Pacific NW

In the empty sunless summer day sky

When the sun reaches on high

Behind many layers of clouds

Hidden from my view

Rainier embraces me

In all its wonder and glory

Growing to its magnificent self

As the clouds, skitter away

Bringing me new life as

Its beauty comes to the forefront

Of my vision filling me with

Its formidable self

Pushing me to go on

Never to withdraw

Keeping myself strong

Drawing from its supernatural strength

Giving me the added boost

To be the very best of me

To me, Mt. Rainier is my mountain.

It gives me hope

When nothing else can give support

It's always watching over me,

Always protecting me

The multitude of my sins

Are buried deep within its

Snow covered glaciers.

It's all seeing

And never ever rats me out

Or passes judgment.

It's my strongest friend

And always stands proudly

By my side

Most of all

My mountain always knows

How to make me smile

It comes out from behind

The gray Pacific NW skies

To show me its wonder

And greatness at just being.

Awesome,

I called you once,

I called you twice,

I still think you’re nice.

You gave me the words

You gave me the light

You allowed me to see

What the doctor has in sight.

Bless you girl

You make it all okay.

It takes just ten minutes and

I’ll be on my way.

We can almost guarantee,

It’s so easy you won’t even know

We’ve replaced a lens and

Then you’re ready to go.

We’re prepared for you

We’ve seen it all

So I’ve been told

I’ll be leaving long before

The day can grow old

In and out,

We’re experts you know

Just ten minutes
